Zambia’s social media streets have done it again. Just when the dust was settling from the recent scandal involving a 15-year-old boy and his teacher, another video has surfaced — because apparently, peace is overrated.
This time, the spotlight is on a girl identified as Joy. According to circulating reports, she recorded a private video while casually strumming her guitar and sent it to someone believed to be her boyfriend. And all this, allegedly, for a grand total of K850. Yes, K850 — because in this economy, apparently that’s the price of trust.
What was supposed to be a private exchange has now turned into a public circus. Either the recipient decided to play distributor, or someone close to him got hold of the clip and leaked it. Whatever the case, Joy’s “business deal” has ended in the usual heartbreak and humiliation — premium tears delivered express.
Ladies, let this be a reminder: stop recording yourselves and handing out the evidence like souvenirs. Some people will betray you faster than you can say “send.”
